The Patent Office provides comprehensive services to domestic and foreign clients in the field of intellectual property, in particular regarding patents, utility models, industrial designs and trademarks.

The Office is administrated by an experienced scientist and patent attorney Dr hab. n.t. Piotr Rytlewski, who:

• graduated in physics at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Toruń (2005);

• obtained the degree of doctor in technical sciences, in the field of materials engineering (Silesian University of Technology, 2008);

• completed the application and in 2012 was registered on the list of patent attorneys before the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland;

• obtained habilitation (professor maturity) in the field of materials engineering (Silesian University of Technology, 2016);

• since 2016 is a professional representative before the European Union Office for Intellectual Property.

The Office specializes in scientific and technical solutions and effectively helps in these aspects to develop new technologies and products, not only at the stage of their legal protection, but also at the stage of their technological development. The Office cooperates in this field with engineers and scientists in the fields of physics, chemistry, mechanics, electrical engineering, biology and medicine.

We run a wide range of advisory, legal and research activities addressed to enterprises in the technological area, mainly in the field of production, processing and testing of engineering materials.
